Dive Watches Under 500 Bucks

Dive Watches are very popular, but they can also be expensive. The classic brands such as Rolex make really beautiful dive watches, but they are also quite expensive. So if you’re in the market for a dive watch under 500 bucks, this is the place. You will find lots of very cool, well made, designer dive watches that are not going to be super expensive. Some  of them look like the classic Omega and Rolex dive watches. Here’s a look at some of them.

(Important to note: Not all Dive Watches are suitable for actual scuba diving. Dive watches are a design, a style of watch. Not all dive watches are rated for scuba diving. For example, the first three dive watches listed here (under 500 dollars) are not designed for deep sea diving. They look great though. But if you do want a dive watch that is suitable for diving, then at the end of the article you will see a recommendation.

Invicta Blue Face Dive Watch

This is a gorgeous watch that is really affordable. Invicta is not a high priced brand, so you can buy one without worrying about making monthly payments. The watch has one of the more beautiful color designs: blue and steel. It’s also got a nice large face…not too big, but big enough to be impressive and make a statement. The case diameter is 43 mm.. So if you like the look of the classic Omega and Rolex dive watches with the white on Blue and Steel design, then this is a definitive winner.

Citizen Eco Drive Dive Watch

This is a very cool dive watch with a polyethylene band. If you don’t like the metal bands that many dive watches have, then this is a great alternative. I really like the Citizen line of watches. They look really nice, plus they are well made. This one was a nice big face, also 43 mm, and is rated for water work. It has a nice dark blue color with white hands and number markers and a nice blue band

Seiko Dive Watch

A watch doesn’t have to be Swiss to be well made. One of the best watch brands out there is Seiko. This is a Japanese company and they make one of the best dive watches under 500 dollars. It has that classic styling that you look for in a Dive watch, without costing thousands of dollars like you would have to shell out for a Omega or Rolex.

This Seiko dive watch has a gorgeous steel  design, with a Quartz movement. The watch not only looks awesome, but it is functions as a  watch. You can definitely use this when you’re out at sea, enjoying ocean sports. However, it’s not for actual SCUBA diving.  But if you’re not planning on going SCUBA diving, then this is a great choice.

Omega Dive Watch

Alright, so this watch isn’t under 500 bucks, but if you want the best dive watch possible, as well as a super luxurious and well crafted piece, then you cannot beat this Omega. It’s exquisite crafted and it’s design concept set the bar for many other dive watch designs.

It has a 41mm wide face, is rated to 990 feet, and can be used scuba diving for up to 2 hours according the the literature.

You have the classic Black and stainless steel design. If you want the best possible, then this is what you should get. There are payment options where you can stretch the payments out over several months, so it’s not a big hit. The other awesome thing about the Omega line of watches is that they can be considered investment pieces. That’s not something you can say about most watches. Omega, along with the other luxury watches such as Rolex and Brietling, are heirlooms and collectables so they will appreciate like classic cars or art.
