When you’re looking for large face watches, you have lots to choose from. There are tactical watches, dress watches, sport watches, and novelty watches.

This selection is going to focus on dress watches with big faces.

One of the things I have found with dress watches is that the larger the face, the more fashion or stylish the design. That’s great for fashion watches, but when you’re looking for a dress watch, you don’t want something that is super flashy. You want a clean face, not one that is a gears exposed design.  There are lots of 40mm dress watches, but once you hit the 50mm there are not many.

Luckily, there are some really great picks! Some companies understand that people want a big face dress watch. Invicta, Diesal , and a few other companies make really clean and classic designs and incorporate them into a 50mm and larger watch.

Dress Watches not Fashion Watches

I differentiate between the two this way: Fashion Watches are more ornate. They have a more flashy look. Dress Watches are more classic and streamlined.

When you’re looking for a large face dress watch, you have lots less options the bigger the face. Once you go over 50mm, there are not that many brands. However, there are some really nice choices.

I’m going to pick out a few different large face dress watches. There will be one for all different budgets.

Some of these watches come with a chronograph. Other than that, they don’t have lots of distracting bells and whistles. You don’t want too much stuff with a dress watch.

 

First up is Fossil.

They are a well known designer brand. I don’t like a lot of their stuff, but this 50mm smoke metal is really cool. It is also really affordable.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next Up is a Nixon 54mm

This is a really big watch. It is a high polish steel look. Really beautiful. If you’re looking for a clean looking, really big face watch, with numbers instead of slashes or roman numerals, than this is a great choice.

This is a nice looking chronograph watch. It is designed so that you could even use it as a dive watch.
